Hello guys, I tried a search for this but didn't find what I needed.

I have a Compal IFL90, I wanted to know if it is possible to upgrade the Graphics card and if so what choice can I chose from?

Can any of you guys recommend a graphics card which would be better than my current one which is a 256MB GEFORCE 8600GT + D-SUB + TV-OUT (I copied straight from Manufacturers website)

All help is much appreciated guys as I don't know much about what upgrades are available for this machine and I know nothing about graphics cards :p.

    Many Thanks
    H

I'm sorry, but the 8600M GT is the highest card compatible in your laptop.

Hello guys, thanks for the replies, is it possible then to upgrade the card from 256mb to 512mb? Or is this a pointless upgrade? (Remember I am Noob to this :p)

    Many Thanks

It's just not possible for you to upgrade your GPU at all. And if you're referring to some 512MB 8600M GT GPU, then it would hardly be any better than the one you have.
