Hi,
Is it possible to replace my 4155's AMD Turion 64 MT 30 to a more powerful processor? Which one is recommended? Thanks.

Unfortunately you are stuck in s754, so you don't have many options. Some candidates:
Mobile Athlon 64 4000+
Turion 64 ML-44
Turion 64 MT-40
Mobile Sempron 3600+
The MT-40 would be your bet. You could also go with an ML-44, it will be a bit faster, but it's also a little bit hotter. The Sempron will be your best value, but it's lacking in the cache, power saving, and cooling departments. If your notebook is already warm or you don't want to lose any more battery life, I would stick with the MT line. If you don't care about cooking your laptop and like having 'an impressive one half of ten minutes' battery life, but only want pure speed, the Athlon will be your best bet. I'm pretty sure that's the fastest mobile processor you can get in that socket. -
Thanks. Is it worth it replacing the CPU? Even though I have a MT-30, it still runs hot, but a laptop cooler does the trick and it always plugged to the power outlet. Is it fairly easy to replace the CPU? Does it require soldering? Thanks.

the processor is in a socket, so no soldering, and is accessable from the bottom panel, but because the heatsync is under the lip of the housing dissassembly of the housing is required, if anyone can explain the minimum dissassembly required, id be greatful. thanks...
