I'm considering replacing the Athlon 2400+ with an AMD TURION 64 ML-34 PROCESSOR. Would this be possible with just a BIOS flash, or is there something else that I need to know - like compatibility issues with the socket (754), motherboard, heatsink, etc... Also, I realise that the RAM speed for this Averatec 6200H model is 2700 (333MH) but would the 3200 (400MH) RAM be back-compatible (especially if I upgraded the processor)? Right now it's half the price of the 2700... By the way, it is DDR - not DDR2. Any chance of upgrading the video chip - SiS741 - or are driver updates my only chance???
Thanks again for your insight and suggestions!
