I need urgent help with a big problem.

I accidently activated the TPM module and now for some reason, my Zepto 6224W does not get further than the big Zepto screen and the message System Resuming....

So how can I fix this ? Must I really sent it back ? Because it is just delivered and I need it for a project that starts next week.

    Please somebody help me

Press F2 at the Zepto splash screen to enter the BIOS, the go to the Security page and disable the TPM module (since the sensor is not present). If that doesn't work, you can try using F9 to reset the BIOS.

I can't get into the Bios. Tell me when does the F9 button works ? Or does it only work from inside the bios ?

if it stays at the splash screen for longer than 5 secs, do a force shutdown (holding the power button until it goes black). Then start it and go to bios with f2 and disable

No success... the splash screen stays. The test in the lower left corner stays at: System Resuming.

I tried the forced shutdown, but the power button, also by just taking of the battery, no result stays the same.

Fixed it.... I don't know if you have to do like me but I removed almost everything out of the portable, 1 of the 2 memory sticks, the battery next to memory, the harddrive and the DVD but also the Turbo Memory. And then it worked.

So maybe it was just enough to remove the battery next to the memory and 1 memory module. But now my problem is solved.

1 thing I can say. The build quality is very good of the portable.

Thanks for the feedback. You were locked into a nasty loop. The computer was probably waiting for a signal from the TPM before it would do anything.

I recall someone complaining a few weeks ago because removing the battery could clear the BIOS security. Now we know why this facility is desirable.

Since none of the 6x24W series have the TPM sensor, it should be disabled in the BIOS and hidden from view in order to avoid problems such as this.
