Does anyone know if you can simply use an electric plug adapter for the 3270 when traveling abroad, or do you need a power converter too? I bought my 3270 in the U.S.
I called Averatec tech support, and they didn't know the answer.![]()
thanks so much.

Been a while since you posted your question... You should be able to just use a plug adapter. I ran my 3270 on 220-240V in Iraq for 5-6 months w/o any power problems.

Used my 3270 in France all of July; only needed the plug adapter, no converter. (also accidentally used the 3270 adapter on my 600E Thinkpad, bye bye LCD..now see Ebay listing 6819246126, but that's another story..) Good luck!
