My Zepto started today flickering screen badly. It flickers randomly whole screen or just backlight on/off. That happens also in BIOS so it can't be driver problem or so. I can't get into Zeptos ftp downloads so I can't check if any new BIOS would help but I think that it's hardware error. Anybody else had this problem or any solution? I've had that less than a week as my birthday present so it kinda annoys me.

Should I just send it back? I'll hope not because it took pretty long to arrive from Denmark here to Finland.

Thanks for those who'll try to help!

EDIT: It seems that if I keep my hand or any little pressure little bit to the right from touchpad it does that. I'll post a video when I can get it from my cellphone

somthing wrong with your screen connection , There is normall a ribbon cable with a slot in bit that goes into your mothboard , if you can find that by removing the plastics above the keyboard and perhaps re-align it , I havt no idea what your laptop is like , but that is the case on most things , Does it flicker more then you move the hidge??

I don't think i'd found anything from those places which won't void warranty so I'll just send the machine back to be repaired. Too bad since it's not a week old yet.

    Thanks anyway!

Now and then I have some flickering.
    I'm running Vista x64
I get a Vista error message saying the driver's gone. It has always recovered in a few seconds (Also get message saying it is working again)

Do not whether this because Vista is so Beta or Zepto

Do you have access to a monitor? If that flickers when plugged into your 6625WD then the problem must be the software / GPU. If the monitor does not flicker then it is most likely the backlight or the inverter which supplies its power.

iv had a few of those "driver stopped responding and has recovered" messages, tough it didnt cause any flickering, just froze the screen, but since i reinstalled/changed my video driver it hasnt came back a single time
