    1299 for all that? seems like an awesome deal.
    the only drawback i could see from reading posts here is the battery life on it is rather short.
    does anyone have any comments on that or this notebook or even Averatec as a whole?

    You may get more responses if you post this in the Averatec forum. But generally, most people who bought Averatec notebooks seem to be happy with their purchases.
    The battery life is limited because of the P4 CPU, but you can buy another battery so you have one as a backup when you really need the power. You may want to check to see if they have an extended battery for this unit as well.
