    i need your opinion about these two systems...which is better as an all around machine with gaming capabilities?? need to make purchase before spring semester starts...thanks

    I would go with the Uniwill 258k if you are looking for sheer power. if you want a mix of good batt life/proformance the Centrino would be a good choice. But the AMD 64 gets my vote since i was a former user.

    how big is the diff. between 128mb vs 256mb for gaming>?>?

    it isnt noticeable unless you crank up the resolution, and put games on their highest settings.

    Hmm how come you can get the extended warranty on the one with the Pentium but not the AMD one.
