I recently got my new 6224 and im more than pleaed so far. However, as I tried to connect my TV to the laptop a problem surfaced. I cant get the video to play as fullscreen on the tv while keeping it windowed on my desktop. Is that function disabled in the zeptos or am I just stupid and blin when searching through the Nvidia control panel?

Also, it seems that the clone function is a bit off... Maybe it´s connected, what do I know. It seems like this should be easy to solve as my old 9800 from ATI does it in its sleep, and that card is almost 4-5 years old...

Anybody got any ideas? Would be nice to solve it, bugs me that I cant use my tv for videos :(.

Btw, updated the drivers with the ones from early october.

what drivers are you exactly using? The official from Zepto ftp or one from laptopvideo2go.com?

Imusing the "official" ones from Zepto's ftp. Should I try to change drivers? Also, is there some way of getting the video card to support 1900*1200? my TFT monitor uses that as native.

install the ones from laptopvideo2go - they will defently solve your 1900X1200 res problem and most probably the TV stuff.

Thanks a bunch! Ill try that out right now. Oh, I fiddled around in the Nvidia Control Panel (crappy UI if you ask me) and it seems like either Zepto or Nvidia forgot to implement the controls for video overlay. I just cant seem to find the tab that the Help section talks about :s. Ah well, Ill try the new drivers.

The latest drivers for Win XP 32 didn't resolve the Video Overlay problem, the settings tab for the video overlay still seems to be missing. Anyone got any other ideas?

hi .. ive tried a bunch of drivers, and am now using the latest 174 on Vista 32 without a single problem (8600M GT 256mb). I also am missing the "overlay" tabs in the nvidia control panel. In fact it seems like a lot is missing. I remember having a "virtual desktop" feature built into nvidia drivers .... are you and I just missing an additional piece of software?!?

I noticed I was having a problem with overlays (problem = not working at all) in trying to utlizied the "overlay to desktop" option within AVS for Winamp (turns your desktop into a music visualization.

I found a thread on Winamp's [dead] forums about the feature not working in vista .. but then I found this video on youtube proving it can work just fine

Also found this thread proving that Nvidia is the culprit here (overlay works in vista with ATI cards). What is the issue here? I can't believe my state of the art video card doesnt support video overlay!
