I notice that there is an Virutal surround option in realtek's control panel, but its only available with built-in speakers. When i plug in my Creative Inspire T3100 speakers then Virtual surround option gets replaced by Headphone vitalization. How can i use virtual surround and why my ifl90 thinks my speakers as headphones.

Because it is a headphone jack. I can see you have a headphone virtualization option with the headphones plugged in, that would be the similar I believe.

PLug them there and use the headphones virtualization as it work pretty much the same way. Is it a 5.1 kit? It only support 2.1.
