Compal's driver layout is a little strange with their newer systems, to be sure. You may also want to install the WSS (Wireless Select Switch) and WOWva (WOW Audio panel) applications so that your switch and WOW buttons work properly :).

I know that is an off topic subject and that no one knows the solution, but if I could I would remove the panel functionalities (WoW video and audio and others). I always touch them accidently and make them work.

Well, there is a solution...disable the whole panel by disconnecting it. I'm pretty sure there are guides on NBR to CONNECT the panel...just use that guide in reverse to disconnect it...suddenly no panel to worry about :D.

Yes, that's a solution I can definitely do, but later you may encounter other issues like popups saying that something is wrong with your panel, so I just leave it alone.

The WOWva i installed to use the bottons, but what does the WSS app do?The switch itself seem to work just fine.Does it add functions or just a remake of the windows ones?

    Tks ;)

The WSS software brings up a little applet when you flip the switch. It was the CL56 I was thinking of where the WSS software was required to make the switch work.
