So as the thread says I managed to spill 2 dcl of tea all over my vizio.. the moment it happened it shut down and it was 2 days since I waited to dry.. today i will try to turn it on, but i was also considering to dissamble it and firstly try to dry it more on my own but there are rare videos on youtube about how to do that specifically for vizio laptops..

as im living in europe (and obviously there are not vizio service support or shops here I dont have any other way to fix it than by myself or through some computer repair shop, but again without a components especially if motherborad is dead I am screwed I would say..)

so do you have any advice how to proceed in this situation - opening it by myself and how? or just trying to send it to US somehow and pay XX bucks for repairing it, if that is even cost beneficial compared to just buying new vizio..

    thanks any advice is welcome..

If the tea contained sugar and/or milk (which can affect the electronics even when dry) then you will need to strip down and clean the affected parts of the computer. If it was plain tea then the effect on the electronics may not be so bad although I would still try to undertake the disassembly and clean.
