Hey guys, just visiting from the alienware side,

I just got a M17 (same as ocz whitebook i think) running 64 bit vista and i got it with out an OS (yah yah) I installed it with recovery cd's and that junk, only thing is, I cannot find a webcam driver. It's driving me nuts. Every application including the cyberlink youcam, all shows my webcam as this,

xtee, that's odd.. very odd. My driver is the exact same as yours. And, regardless of drivers it really shouldn't be displaying those colored bars like a TV station just went off air. I thought I had my original driver CD with me, but it's not in my bag. I will make an attempt to find it within the next day or so when I get home. Til then, uninstall the Webcam thru device manager and let it re-install. Oh, if you're trying to do live video chat.. are those bars what the other person sees? Or, just what you see?

you need to tell your programs to use the camera, i had the same problem and it ended up being the programs were using default device, and it wasnt the camera for some reason.
