    Hi to all forum members!

I've been experiencing weird issues when using VirtualBox versions newer than 2.1.2. I can create x64 virtual machines, but they don't work properly. For example, installation of Windows 2003 Server x64 fails at starting the gui installer, and so on. The weird thing is that in Vmware, everything works flawlessly, so I assume that there is something that Vbox doesn't like about the VT extensions on my Compal FL90 (ops, I should have mentioned first that I had this laptop, so that's why I am posting in this section :p)

My bios version is 1.18, Windows 7 x64, 4GB ram. Anyone having similar problems?

BTW, tested the same machines & isos on other computer (different processor, also with VT) and worked perfectly.

Thanks for your time and patience!

Thanks for the reply, but I'm using an Iso to install, and the same iso works flawlessly in vmware. I think that's a VT related issue when using vbox, because Microsoft Virtual PC, and Vmware work just fine :(

I need to install 64bits operating systems, so that's not an option :(
