I'm trying to fix my friend's Averatec 2200 laptop. Some of the keys on the keyboard doesn't work, however, if I hold shift then press the keys, they work (but not if I press cap lock). I tried reinstalling Windows and resetting the bios, but the problem is still there. Could it be the keyboard's problem? If it is the keyboard, why would the keys work if I hold down shift? Any ideas? Thanks.

Does anyone have a guide on how to remove the keyboard? Thanks.
