    Are they worth it? How much would an equiv. cam cost if I were to go with one without it?

    I have no other frame of reference as this is my first w/cam but the one my 2225w is fine. It is a clear picture and as good as you'd expect from a 1.3mgp camera.

    Yeah, I agree. I have the 6615WD, and the camera is fine. Like fpsg this is my first notebook with a webcam (actually first laptop at all), so I don't have anything to compare with.

    Well next to a digital camera maybe? Or next to a real photograph. How grainy is it?

    if you have a cell phone with a camera in it, those are usually 1.3 megapixel. they should be of similar quality.
