I am currently having a problem with my ifl90 in which I cannot power it on... Well it does power on but the Power LED does come on for 2-3 seconds then turns off. The system fan does not come on. However if I have the battery plugged in, the LED display does show it charging when the AC adapter is plugged in. What does this exactly mean? Do I have to replace the motherboard? And if I do any idea on costs? T_T

UPDATE: Okay, I have found out the cause was the capacitors of the battery were over charged and is fine after I discharged it... However even though the system will actually show a blue light now and the system fan does turn on during the first 1-2 seconds of boot up, there is absolutely no display(or backlight) and the computer does not turn off even if I hold down the power button. What is the cause of this?

I tried replacing the ram with a set of 2GB SODIMMs that I had from when I first ordered the laptop. However there is no change in the condition it is in at the moment. Any tips would be great thank you.
