    Go look at clevos site. they prob haven't undated their site yet. it would make sense with the newer nvidia coming out

    illegear is using Quanta for a few of their units that are not Clevo...that keyboard and touchpad also makes me want to say Quanta...but its sharing same chassis with the MECHREVO X1 Series GI5KN5A but I have no idea if MECHREVO is an ODM... its most likely MECHREVOs.

    Basically illegears press release is also lying because they did NOT design the keyboard...MR did.

    EDIT: MECHREVO is a OBM therefor it is a Mechrevo/TongFang designed laptop and produced by Tongfang. Mechrevo belongs to Tsinghua Tongfang Co., Ltd which is a subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings which ultimately belongs to the State Council of China.

    So no... its neither Compal, Quanta, or Clevo its TongFang.

    THX Bro for info. I thought this it might not be quanta because "strange" serial number. Now it makes sense. These barebones looks pretty good. I hope i will get one soon for test.

    They are a competitors against clevo then as it seems. It looks like the used to make the barebones for the Original Alienware Company along with dell, HP and some others. The Chassis look alot like the msi laptops like the but more like the acer predator laptops and some of the Max-Q LAptop Designs. Also seems to be their latest work if with Apple... I have an itch where may be doing more in chassis design for resellers like the predator laptops for companys like acer. "We don't want to look like we are clevo base we want to look unique"
