All of it can be uninstalled without hurting the system if that's what you're asking. What you should uninstall really depends on "what you need". I, for one, recommend a clean install of the operating system.
-
Thanks. Do you have a link to something that would do that for me and be free.
Also, are there some that I could manually uninstall. I just want my Computer to be a little faster. Will this even help? -
Also, I use PC tools Spyware Doctor. I didn't post that as I pay for it and don't want to uninstall it
-
don't uninstall these...
synaptics pointing device driver
Intel graphics mdeia
Broadcom 802 wireless Lan adapter
and any of those programs you want to keep
like Adobe reader is usefull. -
Will I be able to listen to music/burn CD's if I delete the Roxio?
I'm a student in college. I use all of the microsoft tools. I use all of the videos for ...stuff.
I'm afraid that if I uninstall something like HP DVD play that I won't be able to watch a movie ever. Is that true.
Basically what I'm asking is, if this was your PC, what would you delete? -
Also, will my computer update automatically if I delete the HP update.
Some sound important, but I read around that most are just filler. -
I don't think having programs that are useful will slow down our computer. The problem programs are the ones that start at startup and happen to be not useful.
If you have Vista, you can control which programs start at startup. -
I use vista. How can I control the programs at startup?
Thanks a ton to both of you. I'm basically an Idiot when it comes to computers. -
Hmmm what is this doing in the Compa L forum???
-
Where's the compaq one?
-
Maybe under "HP, Compaq and Voodoo PC". Perhaps. Maybe.
What should I uninstall? I want to clear room
