Hi, I am wondering where this notebook stands compaired to the macbook air, Vodoo Envy 133, or any other 13in notebook on the market. Im not to familiar with these new processors and am wondering if the 1.4 core 2 solo is any good in working with programs like photoshop and creative suites.

Sorry about posting here its just I dont know where to post this topic.

    Thanks

    core 2 solo?

forget about it. you're going to be lucky if your OS boots up....

okay...i kid....but this is like comparing a dragster to a bicycle on a straight run.

you're about 4 effective generations behind.

but really, its for notepad and flash/javascript-light web browsing only.

    Erm, wrong section?

    Anyways...

I haven't had a look at the Falcon yet but doesn't the Macbook Air use a 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo if I remember rightly? That will DESTROY the Core 2 Solo. The Macbook Air also has a 9400M meaning you'll have the capability to do some light gaming as well. Plus, you get the advantage of the Mac OS and you can still put Windows on it.

Yeah thats what I thought. I was just wondering since the Falcon Northwest just launched the I/O and wasn't to sure what the core 2 solo was all about. Pretty weird how Falcon-NW is known for producing top of the line powerful products and they just launched that piece of garbage like the I/O. Seems like they took 4 huge steps down being 4 generations old!!!

Thanks guys for sheding some light, Im a noob and really couldn't find any information on the I/O so again I really do appreciate it.

I can't wait to order a Falcon just to try them out...hear such good things but you never know until you own one.
