What's the normal average temperature on the go7600 GPU ? I'm usually at +-85C idle, isn't that very hot ? Actually, right now I'm at 93 with only Firefox open.

Woah, 85C for and idle temperature is way too hot. For comparison, my GPU idles in the mid 40s and only peaks at about 80C. It could potentially be a driver issue, or the program could be reading incorrect temperatures. Have you cleaned out the insides of your notebook recently and are the vents free of dust?

    As I thought :(
I'm using Nvidia's display settings to check the temp, any other program recommendations ?
My CPU temp is +- 42-46 idle. I just cleaned my fan and I also applied some ArcticSilver5 on the cpu.

Everest gives me the same temp so I obviously have a problem.
As I said, I've just had my fan out and cleaned it and the vents. Do I have to open the whole laptop and clean it too ? Where exactly is the GPU ?
What other actions can I take ?

    Ah, so many questions... :)

    Thanks.

If you work under Windows XP try to update to the latest nvidia driver (>1xx.xx). It helped in my case.
