Are you sure? I think the delivery with the 9650 is estimated in October.
According to uk.Zepto.com it's 43 days left to delivery. 43 days left on the Swedish site too. Maybe it's the second delivery with the 9650 then.

My Nexus with the 9600 were delayed with 16-18 days :(. So the estimated delivery day is September 18 as earliest.

    Sorry for bad English.

It's just an over clocked 9600 right? I'll just oc it myself and maybe add some heatsinks.

    You are correct sir. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-9650M-GT.10764.0.html

I still believe that undervolting the CPU will leave some room heat-wise for over clocking of the GPU. If I get jealous of the 9650m GT that is :p

Be aware that modifying your graphic card in any way, will void your warrany.

    Chris M ~

I suppose you mean fitting a custom heat sink or fan on the graphics card then?
Because I hardly think that configuring a card using software readily available on the developers website can be enough for me to lose my warranty?

That is off course unless I burn it to a crisp. Which is why I intend to cool the system by undervolting it. Something that also does not involve any physical modification of any part in the computer. I would only do that after the computer is not under warranty in my country anymore. Since that is a long time here in Norway (5years) it might never happen.

    But thanks for the warning.

    Edit: Sorry for going off-topic.

As long as its physicallly the same and you know what your doing when undervolting and overclocking the guys at zepto can by no means detect if you have been modifying.

If they can, it would be the first time

    Compare to cleaning your fan:
Technically it voids your warranty as you open the laptop, but as long as you dont break anything, your warranty is intact (If you break it then dont expect them to pay for it).

I ordered my Nexus with a 9650GT and a P9500 on the 22nd August, there was a special offer on and they threw in a free blue ray drive too.

The delivery date I have been given is 20th October.

Does anyone know if any laptops have been delivered with 9650s? either zepto or any other manufacturer really. I'd quite like to see some benchmarks with this card. so far I've only seen theoretical ones and guesses. i.e. "Well its a bit like this card so it'll probably perform like that.. maybe"
