Where can I get a new motherboard for my FL90?

Today I installed an Intel 5350 Wimax card in my FL90. It was recognized by the laptop, but I never could get it to work properly or to see any networks. After fighting with it for a few hours, I put my Intel 4965 back in, so the laptop was back in its original state. Now, not only is the webcam/usb connection acting flaky, but now the laptop crashes whenever it is moved or flexed.

So, I don't know if the problem was caused by the Intel wimax card or if it is just a coincidence, but I'm thinking that I've got a short somewhere and I probably need a new motherboard. Anyone have any links with good prices?

Also, can I use an FL92 motherboard in my FL90? I'm assuming that it's the same size board, just with one or two different components, but I'm hoping one of you might know for sure?

Thanks, I'd already tried that. The cheapest one on there says out of stock, the next cheapest store has no feedback. I might try calling the third cheapest store today. I was really hoping though, that maybe someone here has bought a motherboard already and could share their experience?

Ayle, your link was for an FL92 motherboard. Is it safe to assume that it will fit in my FL90 case?

Yes, FL92 will fit in a FL90 case. Swapped one back some time ago, they are physically the same.

I made a few calls today and haven't had any luck in finding a replacement motherboard. It seems like everyone gets their FL92 motherboards from ASI, but ASI is out of stock and doesn't know if they'll ever get any more. So... I guess I'll be taking my laptop apart tonight and maybe using the oven or a hair dryer for a ghetto reflow station repair...

If that doesn't work, I may have to buy a whole new barebones FL92 for ~$500... Are there any similar laptops for $500 or less that I should be looking at?
