    Hi ladies and gentlemen,

I stumbled upon zepto notebooks by chance on PCshopper magazine, I must admit, I'm impressed by the price and features so I intend getting one but I have some questions
-I live in the UK now but will be moving to Cameroun soon, its terribly hot there and with the complaints I'm reading about the heating issue of some zepto notebooks, I am wondering if a notebook can 'survive' there?
-There is a weekend price slash for 3415W but I want to order the 6625WD so I'm wondering, will there be a similar offer/price slash on the 6625WD slash, maybe towards the end of March?

    Tack

    Cheers

The 3415w is based on the IFL90/92 So you should search for a few reviews on those. :D Personally I prefer the 3415w too.

I own the 6625 at 2.4 Ghz, 2Gb RAM + 1Gb turbo memory. I am no hardcore gamer but run some pretty demanding programmes such as ACAD. The laptop does not really overheat, i mean it tends to heat up but that is something which occurs many laptops such as dell and Toshiba.

I've owned this laptop for nearly 5 months and the only complaint is its battery life, which for a 6 cell turns out to be less than 2hrs with wireless switched off, Balanced power setting and running Vista ultimate with MS Word 07.
Still i do recommend this laptop. If you compare to other brands you may notice it has a very attractive price tag, and it an absolute beast. I also love the scree 16800 x 1020 ...just amazing for a laptop.

Hope you do a good investment.

The 6625WD should be OK because it has a cooling system designed to get rid of a lot of heat. However, if you are planning to do heavy gaming in hot ambient temperatures then a laptop cooler to give some supplementary cooling might be prudent.

    You are talking about the:
    3415W: with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels
    6625WD: with a resolution of 1680x1050 pixels

Very very weird in my humble opinion... :-s

What do you want to do with the laptop...?
Gaming, autocadding, photoshopping or only surfing and making Excels...?

    I recommend you the 6224W / 6324W --> 14,1" with a 1440x900 resolution!!

It's a matter of taste to some part I guess, but I prefer 1280x800 and thus I got a 3415W (plus, I love the fingerprint reader).

A 14" gaming laptop wont survive gaming+hot roomtemperatures, 6625wd has a lot more cooling "possibilities".

This 6224W is as hot as the 6625WD... :-s

@ figaro154: Think about the resolution! 1280x800 is very 'little'

I think the point was that the bigger case has more room to allow for better cooling.

Thanks guys for all your help. I finally ordered the 3415W largely because it was on offer over the weekend and cos of the extra features it has like 2.0 mega pixel webcam, fingerprint reader etc. I think its resolution will be ok by me as the resolutions of other models may be too small for me.
I'm a bit sad that the 3415W is cheaper now, cheaper than the offer I took, I wonder why their prices flunctuate more than the English weather
