Recently my liteOn power supply had some kind of "meltdown" and ceased to deliver power. So now I user a universal power supply (which can be switched to many different voltages and has about 8 different plugs and 100 Watts). This works quite well, BUT:
This is some kind of cheapo-adaptor from an unknown company and when I connect my wacom graphics tablet to the laptop I get a lot of cursor distortion. The cursor calms down immediately when I pull the plug. So I think this power supply doesn't deliver very "clean" current and may even cause damage in the long term.

Although I found a plug that fits my zepto I still don't know it measurements. I could give it a try using a ruler, but it's all so small that I couldn't tell if the plug is 5.5mm outside and 2.5mm inside or just 5mm outside or just 2mm inside, it's very hard to measure.
So are there official values there about the plug size?
    At least I know it needs 19V, about 5A => 90W min.

And can you recommend a power supply?

    Thank you very much!
    I hope this will fit.

On another page I have read that there are actually different DC-plugs for the PA-1900-04 which confused me a bit because I thought if there is one product number, there cant be different plugs, so I had to make sure if 5,5/2,5 is the one I need or 5,5/2,0 (like with this one here: http://www.yatego.com/aa-comsys/p,4...op-adapter-19v-4-74a-pa-1900-04-acer-netzteil )(measuring that isn't as simple as it seems, half a milimeter is hard to recognize). I wonder why there aren't any standards for those plugs. The only thing which describes them are the diameters which isn't as easy to remember as, let's say "RJ45" or "USB" or whatever.

Then I'll go look for one!

Mine broke as well. I got this Amacrox brand which worked for nearly a year now.

It's model is AXA090-1ADC21, it came with 7 different adaptor heads, and one fit exactly.

Funny how many of those power supplies broke down, I stumbled over many forum topics about that. Maybe the heat development was just underestimated.
I bet I could fry eggs on my old one (and on the unviversal adapter I user now).

I think about getting this one, it looks very promising, it's also small, light and doesn't get so hot:

Seems like my computer store has them in stock also!

That looks very nice. Thin, light, USB charging port and 90% efficiency should mean it does not get very hot.

The Zepto 6xxx series have one of the more common power plugs (same as Asus (at least the W3A I had 4 years ago), so one of the power tips with the universal PSU should fit.

I ordered it yesterday! The only downside of this power supply will be that it won't serve as a footwarmer anymore which can be nice in the cold season ;)

Yay, now it is there, the plug fits and it does it job.
Well it still can be used as a footwarmer, but it doesn't get brutally hot. Still quite warm though. It makes a much better impression than the previous universal power supply. It is slim and light, but, my old universal power supply was also light and small, maybe even lighter. But for supposedly having much better electronics inside those are good specs. It also comes with a bag where you can put it in together with the cords. There's a warranty of 2 years and I hope it will make it ;)
