It used to be that no one would open a desktop to do work on it. The same idea is around today about notebook computers.

I would like to open this up to get everyone together with individual knowledge about setting up whitebooks. Any ideas, like who makes the best shell, etc, are appreciated.

I'd like to know where to buy them? I've had trouble finding sources for barebones Athlon 64 notebooks. I see that lynncomp.com has Mitac barebones, but that's all I've found.

I have been unable to find a barebones Athlon 64 as well. Asus might be the first to offer, but I have not gotten any responses on my requests.
