I found someone selling a t9300 for a good price, I was wondering if this would function in the whitebook, it probably does, but would it hinder the performance because of the 800FSB compared to the vendor's offering of only 1066 FSB processors?
While I'm here, I guess I might as well ask. How much of a difference will you see in GAMING between a p8400, p8600, and a t9400? Will the 2.26ghz bottleneck me in modern games? Or will it suffice until I want to upgrade to a quad or extreme processor, or both.

A lower end quad, or higher end duo core. The CPUs seem to make a huge difference with this machine.

I cannot post any links here but if you look either on our product page or in our forum there are a ton of benchmarks comparing the different cpu's. This will give you an idea of the performance difference through the current line of cpu's.
A T9400 is about 12000 3D06 and an X9100 is about 15K+ , these are real life numbers you can expect with no mods. -
A T9300 will work, but numbers should be lower than the T9400. According to OCZ, the Whitebook supports a good range of older Socket P processors (even the 65nm meroms), which is a good incentive for those who want to save money with a barebone.

Ok, another question then, would it be safe to buy an ES x9100 off of eBay or a used one.. (Light overclocking use for me), or is there too much of a risk of damage?
