Hello. I found this one that show very good specs. But It's not found anywhere else on the net. What can you say about it?

I'm in Peru, and will send someone to buy it in the US for me. (Customs charge up to 40% for boxed items).

    Sorry. Its specs are:

    - AMD Athlon64 3200 Processor
    - PCMCIA Type II Slot, Support CardBus
    - 1.0GB SO-DIMM DDR 400 Memory
    - 60GB (7200RPM) Ultra ATA Hard Drive
    - ATI Radeon 9700 M11 128MB DDR AGP
    - DVD-RW All-in-One Drive
    - IEEE 802.11g Mini PCI Wireless Lan
    - 15.4" WXGA TFT LCD Monitor w/ 1280 x 800 Max Resolution
    - 3-in-1 Card Reader Drive (MMC/SD/MS)
    - Internal Li-Ion Battery
    - Built-In Ethernet Adapter
    - Built-In Fax Modem
    - Built-In 1394 IEEE Firewire

There's no mention on the brands of the components. Price is US$ 1800. I haven't found such specs anywhere else. The eMachines M6811 brings a 64 MB ATI 9600, 5400 RPM HD and 512 mb of PC 2700, which are bottlenecks for a slightly faster proccessor (Athlon 64 3400).

    Again, the address is: http://www.internetishop.com/product_detail.asp?item=UN25KD32A

    Thanx

Well if you haven't purchased the laptop yet.
    Here's some info.
    That's the unwill/mwave 258ka0 model.
You can find it at Mwave.com
    http://www.mwave.com/mwave/skusearch.hmx?&scriteria=nb-ba20408

It's also sold at ibuypower.com if you want to take the risk as the Battalion S-turbo series.

I don't know that much about the ibuypower.com return policy and stuff. But if you get landed with any dead pixels through mwave.com I don't think they'll replace.

    Some reviews.

I own one myself. Got it from mwave. It's only got like a 2 hour battery life. Additionally it's fans are both located on the bottom. Making it a bit hard for usage on your lap. This thing is desktop replacement. But I'm happy with it. And as for heat issues which I have seen occasionally. I have no clue what people are talking about. My laptop never really gets that hot. I've been playing Doom 3 and Farcry and no problems with heat. It gets warm yes... but as some of the reviews have said. It's comparable to a warm cup of tea. like one that has been sitting out for a while.
