Those laptops are made by Liebermann. Here's one link that discusses them

There's much debate about whether or not the laptops are vaporware, and about whether or not they would be worth the money if they weren't. :)

If you passed algebra 2, you probably know that i=the square root of negative 1, an imaginary number. Vaporware - Imaginary lol.

the company name is not an i, but the greek letter lambda - which would be translated best to "L" or "l"

    hence, go-L.com works, and go-I.com doesn't work :)

Another interesting thing about L is that they claim to be making their own (linux based) Os/distro.. which they would be offering as a default platform.

Future offerings vaporware or no, they apperantly do offer most of their current product line - so I would assume that the stuff they have for sale now at least exists

Libermann is not a manufacturer they are actually OEMing Sager notebooks and marketing under the Libermann name. Sager also is not a manufacturer they are OEMÂ’s for Clevo . So to answer the question who makes it looks to me like they have units made by Clevo, Mitac, and Uniwill . Liebermann is roughly $1000 over priced on the units they are selling.

You are right about Clevo. I own a Sager NP4780 which is made by Clevo. I think Clevo is based in Taiwan. Eurocomm and Prostar are also made by Clevo and their are a few sold in Europe that are manufactured by Clevo.
