    Will The HEL80 take more than 2GB

    Yea. I understand somewhat what others are saying. Right now while you can install 4GB into a board it doesn't mean that the chipset has enough addressing space to support it. One thing I found out before was that even if the motherboard will support and recognize the ram it can actually hurt performance if it isn't able to properly address all of the memory. I had this happen on a really old computer.

    got 4GB just today. seen as 3072MB in bios. so it's 3GB or nothing.

    rubbish...

    well at least it's still useful in FL90 which I might get one day ;) and it wasn't that pricey anyway, memory is arse cheap nowadays.

    honestly tho, I guess it's overkill in my case... but it looks nice ;)

    For what is worth, I've been running 3 gigs in a HEL81 for some time now. The on board graphics takes it share and leaves about 2.8 gigs for Vista Home Premium. I know it is only suppose to use 2 gigs, but I had a 2 gig stick and stuck it in and it worked. I haven't had any problems.
