    Long story short: If you buy a computer with Vista preloaded after July 1st 2009, you get to upgrade to Win 7 with versions syncing up, but only if the OEM takes part in this OPTIONAL program

    Dave@ZeptoUSA, any word on whether or not Zepto will be taking part?

    Since you can choose to buy without an OS thats not really an issue...?

    To me, it means the difference between buying a Zepto within the next half-year, and within the next year-and-a-half.

    If you need a laptop now, buy it, if you can wait (for better specs) wait...

    In the US we use standard OEM licenses. No Zepto OEM licenses. So if we can offer it here, we will. Zepto EU also took part of the Vista upgrade program 2 years ago, so I guess they will do the same now.
