    I've got a FL90, I want to upgrade one of the 2 1Gb modules to a 2Gb module so I'll effectively get 3Gb, and I wondered if the following memory would do it; "Kingmax 2048MB SO-DIMM DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz".

Edit: my BIOS is 1.12 if it will affect this.

Yes, it should work. You might also want to get the latest BIOS.

I'd rather not upgrade, this one is working perfectly, and unless I get a lot of extra features, performance or something like that I'll stay at 1.12 so far :p

I agree, if it's not broken don't change it.

Your BIOS shouldn't affect the memory upgrade at all. If you have trouble with the new memory, TEST IT FIRST (there are lots of threads about running Memtest86). If the memory tests good, then update the BIOS.

To repeat, however, your BIOS version should have NO NEGATIVE EFFECT on your ability to use that memory module.

I'll report back when I've gotten the module, it's expected to arrive tomorrow or on Monday :p
