A Windows version of the 15" widescreen powerbook? It's certainly got my attention.

The only gripes would be the battery life (which, though short by Centrino standards, is still longer than the Powerbook's) and the GeFoce5200 card (which is still faster than Intel 855GM graphics by far, and faster than the Radeon mobility7500 in my R50).

All in all, a very interesting and attractive unit.

    I'm pretty sure that's just a rebadged Northgate m8060

Is Northgate something good or bad in regards to quality?
