I saw the thread for the guy using HEL-80 in Windows 7, but even he seems to be having trouble getting drivers.

I tried Windows 7 64 bit, but getting any drivers to work was a huge hassle.

Can anyone at least help me pin point a workable video, bluetooth, and audio driver? I got the wireless working at least(worked from the start all by itself!). 32 bit drivers are also fine, it doesnt really matter.

    Please?

I didn't know that the HEL-30 supported 64 bit chips? Are you sure it does?

I'm having a similar problem, trying to make my HEL80 work in WS2008 x64 using Vista x64 drivers. Did you tried the ones for HGL30? You can get it from Compal (the support link doesn't exits anymore in their site) or from Intel.

    Good luck!

It will be when it is released. But even now it is already better regarding performance.

@Angelic - At time when I tried it, it was still version 7000 and there was no updates available yet, just some minor and that didn't work out so I placed it aside. I might try it again with new release.

Yeah, I would give 7077 a try. I had also set W7 aside after build 7000, failing to get most of the drivers working. But with 7077, the only driver that didnt work was the fingerprint scanner and the card reader. Nothing was available for the wireless switch either, but none of these are really needed.
(Ok, the audio didnt work either, but it did work after running the normal drivers from the cd in compatability mode)

I remember audio was working fine in 7000. I downloaded latest drivers from Realtek for Vista and they worked. I made a copy of one mp3(even though I applied that patch) and tested it. Yeah, the fingerprint I don't even use. WSS is neat but not so essential.

i tried installing windows 7 on an HEL80.. besides being garbage, and worse than vista (the reason windows 7 seems better to a lot of people is because they do clean, vanilla installs, not factory installs loaded with so much trialware you cant even boot it)... but a combination of vista x64 and XP x32 bit drivers did the trick, a lot of the standard XP drivers worked fine for it
