Just curious as to how Windows 8.1 is running on the first announced Vizio hardware or if staying on Windows 7 is the better option.

How's performance, battery life, and usability?

I tried to install Win 8.1 on my CN15A5. Before I used Windows 7. Computer performs much better in Win 8.1 but there is serious fatal issue which I cannot solve. Even with low CPU usage, computer starts overheating and shuts down. Never had this problem with WIn7 so I plan to reinstall it back when Ill have some time... It si a pity. I use my laptop for making music and live performances and it works much better in Win8.1.

I read lot of forums, many other laptops have the same problem, seems like it is sometimes solved with new drivers/firmwares... but did not found a solution for Vizio. :-(
