I got the drivers from http://www.bizcom-us.com/support/TechSupportDriversDownloadPage.htm#EL80

(Also checked Compal's site, but they are the same). Anyway, the devices install fine.

However, Omnipass is not included with the install. I tried installing it, but it doesn't work correctly. So any suggestions for software that will work with a 64-bit OS?

Also, the camera driver/software installs, but according to MS's Scanner and Camera wizard it can't find it. The taskbar icon shows the camera is enabled, but only gives you the option to exit and disable.

Otherwise I haven't had any problems. It does seems to run native apps a bit quicker than it did under 32-bit. I needed to reload, so I figured I'd give it a try anyway...

XP x64 is not as widely supported. It may not get the attention needed considering how close Vista is to being released. I've heard some people had problems finding drivers for XP x64.

Yeah I knew that...I just figured I'd have decent luck since Compal offered them.

I have a feeling that the same problems going to happen in the 64-bit versions of Vista. During some reading yesterday it looks like most of the free updates people will be getting are the 32-bit version. And IIRC 64-bit is only the business line. I may be wrong though
