    Could anyone help me with my wlan card?

    There was a screw up when ordering my 6625wd and the wlan card wasn't fitted at order so now I got it seperatly and I'm going to put it in myself but I'm not sure where to fit the cables.

    On the wlan card there are three "pins" numbered; one, two and three. The cables are coloured white, gray and black. So here's the million dollar question: what goes where?

    Maybe someone can take that one screw loose and take a peak to let me know, that would be awesome :D

    Thanks
    Adam

    I attach a photo of the wireless card in my 6024W. It's also got black, grey and white wires.

    1 = white
    2 = black
    and between black and white goes grey as number 3.

    The placement of the wires should line up like that although I wouldn't be surprised if black and white are inter-changeable provided 3 = grey.

    Give it a try.

    John

    Thank you so much for your help John! Great help with the picture :D

    Now I only have 2 more griefs with my new wonderful 6625wd and then it's perfect. But first i'm gonna search the forum and then post a new thread if I can't find my answers.

    Untill next time ;)

    If you're interested I am between 3.5-4.1mib/sec wireless, downloading a hddvd which i offcourse already own. ;)

    fast as hell, with cable i get about 5-5.5mib/sec so it's not to shabby this draft N standard :p

    Thanks again
