Thanks. Ive been reading about several problems where the computer Hibernates and then you cannot turn the screen back on. Is this a fairly common problem?

I personally have not experienced it. I am guessing it's a simple software glitch if anything. It could even be a Windows issue.

Paladin44 of powernotebooks is looking into the issue and will post his findings in the HEL80 owner's lounge thread.

i have had that alot. seems to be only happening when the laptop is connected to the power and you leave it untouched for a while so it goes in sleep mode. not a big problem, will probably be solved soon.

That's weird, since my laptop is basically plugged in exclusively. I don't usually leave it unattended for very long though. Yesterday I let it sit for 2-3 hours and everything came right back. I haven't seen this problem first hand, but I'm still thinking it's a simple software glitch.
