    Does anyone plan on using the 5720 for digital content, animation, 3D modeling work? Have you tried Maya, Alias Studio Tools and/or other such apps on your 5720?

    you'll be absolutely fine Jack, I use Photoshop CS2, Softimage XSI, Maya 7 and a few others on my N6210 with 1.25GB of ram and 128mb X600 and everything is handled quite brilliantly, i haven't tried rendering any major scenes yet but it could handle it no problem. it isn't going to outperform a $10k workstation but . . . . . . der.
