What exactly do they do besides light up blue when i touch them lol? I can't seem to figure out if they have a use or are just for fun, any help would be appreciated on how to use them!

EDIT: Also is it possible to reroute the touch buttons to launch another program? Say make the email one open another program?

The Wow video changes the texture of windows, and Wow audio gives a different tone while playing music.

Yes, you just touch once. For music is very subtle, pop gives you a louder sound, you really must be a musician to tell the difference, I'm personally far from being a musician. For video you will get different brightness and color contrast screens, I have it on normal.

Is there a way to enable/disable button functionality at will? Sometimes I'm moving the computer or something and even the lightest touch activates the buttons.

I have not done this, but this is what I think you can do. You may go in Control panel, Programs and features, and remove Wow video & audio utility. But make sure you can install it back if you want to.

By uninstalling you will only tak away the software the functions are still present.
So the only thing what you mis when unisntalling the driver is the option to change the sound settings and to adjust the video option nothing other then this.

That's correct, internet, e-mail, and the speaker function will still be there.

Maybe there is a way to bind some functions to those buttons manually? Like My computer and My network Places, that would be more useful thing. :)

You can do that by simultaneously pressing the window key and a letter key. But I agree that it would be nice to be able to redefine the touch functions at will, like calling a particular screen when your boss is around. :)

Another way to deactivate these keys is to physically disconnect them, but I wonder if windows would give you errors flags.

So far no go, the keys are only complete disabled when disconnecting the touch sensitive strip.
This will not give any window error, because there is no real driver installed for it.

Oh well, then I'm gonna have to be more careful. You see, if you are constantly on the go or using the laptop for presentations, the lightest touch even from a cable activates the buttons. You don't want that to happen in the middle of a presentation.

Sometimes I'm playing a game in full screen mode and touch by mistake the buttons and the computer switch back to the desktop and opens the web browser or the e-mail. Is not a good thing to be in a middle of a fight in your game and loose because of this :(
