For those of you who wanted the Sager rebrand over the Compal one because you wanted WXGA and 8600MGT, XoticPC and PowerNotebooks is now offering WXGA+(1440x900) with the 8600M GT. However, 9-Cell battery still only comes with the WSXGA screen.

The WSXGA+ screens will be Matte(well the first couple of shipments-hopefully more than that).

The WXGA and WXGA+ screens will all be Glossy.

If you have already order the Compal IFL90/SagerNP2090 with glossy WSXGA+ , you should of been contacted by PNB or XoticPC.

In my opinion, it seems more economical to just step up to the WSXGA+ screen. You could always scale it down if the resolution is too high for you, and you get that 9-cell battery for free.

Well, I think it makes a lot more sense for the people who just want the 8600GT and don't really care about the screen resolution or battery. But what this does is effectively cut $75 off the price of the IFL90 for most average customers who do not need the WSXGA screen.

At this time Sager is not going to offer the WXGA+. It will be only available on the regular Compal IFL90 machine.

I like the idea of a WXGA+ option there. Good work Xotic & Powernotebooks!

It seems there are a few more options available in terms of accessories & configurations this time around.
