    I was browsing through the threads and I saw this advertisement on the top of the page. It was for a XPLORER X5 6800 NOTEBOOK


    I configured it and here's what I got for $1291

    CPU: Intel® Core™ Duo T2400 Dual-Core Processor @ 1.83GHz 667FSB 31W 2MB L2 Cache
    MOTHERBOARD: Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset w/ Centrino™ Technology

    SOUND: BUILT-IN AC 97 SOUND

    Does anyone know about this system?

    that is the asus s96j. if i were you, i wouldn't order from them b/c they aren't very reputable. check out their ratings at resellerratings.com. make sure to take a look at the breakdown of the score b/c the score itself is incredibly misleading....

    Im buying this notebook the Asus is so much more for the same specs, and cyberpowerpc is a good company there featured in PC world computer gaming etc.
