Ok I am saving up for a laptop and have pretty much decided on Sager 9860 or 3790. I will be using it mostly for internet and gaming, GTA SA(when it come on PC), Need for speed unerground 2, doom3, possibly HL2 and games similar to those. What would you buy? Buy a 3790 soon? or wait and save longer for the 9860?

It really depends on what you want a laptop for. If you are just doing basic productivity apps, even the 3790 is overkill. If you want the maximum in gaming performance, nothing is going to beat the 9870...right now. I just spotted a killer review of the GeForce mobile 6800 and the Sager system on Tom's:

It will give you top performance right now, if gaming is your current bag. However, until these top cards (ATI MR 9800, NVidia GeForce 6800) are offered with the mobile Athlon 64 CPUs, I have a hard time recommending these systems. It is like a car with the ultimate transmission and a horrible engine. The CPU (Prescott) is a horrible engine, and has been developed way past its actual ability to perform. On top of that, if you decide to go with a P4EE, then the price becomes gag-inducing. Plus, the battery life on the 9860 is just over one hour, and it weighs well over 12 pounds. These two systems are not even in the same ballpark in terms of intended usage.
