The title of the thread says "let the reviews begin", and I was responding to that. My review, with pictures of my computer, is over here, but I don't have any pictures of my setup. I don't have a computer setup; that's why I got a notebook. I'm mobile, baby!

Slappy:
hehe. thanks for posting a link! mines mobile too but you can be creative, i have faith! -

The xbox is the green limited edition halo one. And that phone is most definatly from my dad's work! lol The funny thing too is that the desk is from the same office!
I love how my 700m fits perfectly on the keyboard area. -

Nice setup Chaz.
-
That's a great looking setup, Chaz!!
Two questions:
How do you power on your 5320 with the lid closed, or do you just open it to turn it on?
What PC drives the monitor on the left? -
-
I would never hate you! Of all people never you
I would post my setup but:
1. Its a dell
2. I ues my lap as a desk. -

Well, I just open the lid, push the button, and then close it again. Or, I just leave it on. The DVI-D is very nice on the Sager if you have a digital monitor. The LCD is an NEC I picked up today at Best Buy. 400CM/D brightness and an 8ms response time. Glossy too.

That would be my desktop, a Dell Dimension 8300 - it's running:
-Pentium 4. 3.2GHz
-2.0GB of Corsair XMS DDR400
-256MB ATi 9800XT
-120GB 7.2kRPM Western Digital
-Sound Blaster Audigy 2
-Intel 875P chipset
-4 year warranty, at-home service, accidental damage
-17" Samsung LCD (Dell branded)
Bought that two years ago. Cost me nearly $3k, and is still a nice setup. 9800XT gets over 3,000 in 3DMark05.
Cheers! -
Yeah, I thought you just opened it. I wish there were a way to turn on our Sagers with the lid closed.
You're right about the DVI-D port. I've got my 5720 driving a 24" Dell LCD (2405FPW). It's awesome!!! -

I must say, that for something as large as the Sager NP-5320/5720, it would be useful to have an external power button, just as long as it is recessed far enough that it won't turn on by accident.
That is a very nice display Jack. DVI-D rocks. -
That NEC LCD is nice, a bit expensive still though. Some 17" can be found for just under $200 these days, albiet not very reputable manufacturers.
