    Hi,

I have read some where rhat there is a new 17in note book coming from zepto soon in the q1 refresh, what does this mean and when would that be? Would there be a chance of it having a 8800m series card in it?
I bought a 6214w (geforce go 7600, 1.8ghz core duo, 1gb ram ect) a year or two ago and am looking to buy somthing a bit more powerfull this time and would love to buy from Zepto again. So if anyone knows any possible dates or possible specs (hint to any Zepto reps on this forum lol ;) ) then it would really help me figure out how long the wait is an whether it would be worth it or not!

    Thanks guys,
    Ben

If we knew of such information we could not comment on if this was true and when it was to be released as we are on the danish stock market. Because of this we are not allowed to give out information on products to come or soon to release until it has been released in a press released from Zepto itself.

So everything out there is pure speculation to be honest.

well, if you plan on doing one, fit it with 2 fans, to get that thing cool but keep the design you have right now, dont put any spamming light on it. Keep it cool :)

I've also understood that there will be 17" models maybe in march. Roughly said, in a half year we should see those monsters.

    That would be amazing
I love the approach Zepto have to notebooks
their pricing and build options appeal to every kind of user, especially the option of leaving out the o/s for those who have a Full License or wish to install Linux.

I am waiting to see what happens re: 8800M notebooks, as I drastically need to update my Acer with x1400 (HL2 ep2 really slows down at 'big' moments :(

Its also great to see a european manufacturer going out on a limb to supply something unique.

    2 cents,

Perhaps it's a bit early to suggest, but if they do come out with it I'd be
very weary. Ready the threads in regards to the 6625wd, fan noise, and
keyboards of Zeptos 'top models.' You may want to make sure they don't
stick their customers with another 'mediocre' model that's dubbed a
    'premium' machine.

But that's just me. We own 3 Zeptos, (1) 4200 and (2) 6625wd and the old
4200's build and quality is regularly outperforming the top end 6625.

    Hope this helps!

Zepto needs to do a laptop with a higher spec video card than the current 8600gt 512mb ddr2. Hopefully this 17 inch beast will give them the chance to do that... at a competitive price of course ;)

Yeah, the new alienware 15in with 8800 looks wicked. Unless Zepto comes up with something good (8800 in 14inch ;) )then Im gonna become an alienware user :D

You can't compare the two companies, you really do pay a premium for Dellienware notebooks

zepto work on competitive pricing, but it would be really nice to see the 17" Zepto sport an 8800

    holds breath! :)

Nope there's nothing as a 3415WD, as the "D" meens that you can connect it to a dockingstation. And theres no dockingstation for the 3x15 series.
