Are there any people that are using a socalled 'Express Card IR-remote' with their 6224W?

(This is just one of the examples from Google)

I want to buy one, but offcourse I want one that works...

And for so far I know, Zepto doesn't sell them theirselves...

There is existing a softwareprogram called 'intelliremote'
which works with most of the laptops but it isn't shure...

    So anybody?

    I have been here before.

See this thread and this thread. I could get the HP remote to work with XP but not Vista.

I think the underlying IR hardware is the same for both the 6x24W and 6625WD - they both came out of the same factory at the same time. I did try again more recently to get the HP remote to work with Vista, but failed.

One of those Bluetooth remotes is reviewed here.

Hmmm I couldn't get it fixed..
    Have read this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=157130

Everything is configured in the same way... but it doesn't work..?
Maybe the (new?) battery of the remote is empty so it doesn't function?

    Anybody with the golden tip?!

You could look at the infrared diod with the camera in you mobile phone(or likewise) and see if the remote works.
Digital cameras can "see" infrared light.
