    Zepto 6224W Upgradeable Video Card ???

    Does anyone know if the videocard in the Zepto / PC Microworks Impluse is upgradeable ?? Can one switch out the Nvidia 8600M GT and install a Nvidia 9600M GT or other MXM tye card ?? Thanks for any info. God Bless :)

    If my memory serves right, at least my 6314W doesn't have a MXM slot, it's soldered straight into the motherboard..

    Since new models have MXM and Zepto advertises the thing a lot, i'd dare to say that the older models don't have MXM. Therefore, you cannot change the GPU.

    the 6224 and 6324 share the same mobo, the GPU on my notebook is directly soldered to the mobo and therefore cannot be upgraded. MXM was supposed to standardise the interface for mobile graphics cards, but it never really got there dell for example have their own standard of MXM, Asus a different one. So no real hope of changing the GPU in a 6224 or 6324 I'm affraid.
