I just got my zepto 6224w yesterday and the dvd drive won't open. Can I fix this problem without sending it back to zepto?

    EDIT
When I press the button it sounds like it's opening the drive but it doesn't

well, at startup, do it make any sound? Is the little light flashing? Can you see it in device manager? Installed the driver for it?

It makes a sound at the startup and the light is flashing. I can see it in the device manager. I have not installed new drivers for it because I don't know what drivers to install.

Janna, Janna, I told you to contact me first before you got that laptop, just because of this reason, I'll just phone you instead.

(For those that this might seem strange, I know the OP)

    Is it a slot-in drive maybe? ;)

If it is a slot-in drive theres just a crack in the side of the drive where you push in the CD/DVD. When you eject a CD from a Slot-in drive the CD is the only thing that comes out.

If it's normal tray drive there is a tray that ejects when you press the eject button
