    Hi

I have Vista OS and can't get my new logitech mouse to work. I have installed the bluesoleil software which came on the driver DVD.

I can see the mouse when I discover it, but it will not pair up

Please could someone help me here

    Thanks

You shouldn't need to install any Logitech software to get the Bluetooth connection working but it will be needed to get all the mouse functions.

I tried making a Bluetooth mouse connection on my 6024W and didn't encounter any problem. I am using V3.2.1.2 supplied by Zepto but it is telling me that there is a version 5 here. However, the download version seems to have a 5MB data limitation.

The procedure to connect a mouse is (for me):

    1. Start the Bluetooth connection and BlueSoleil software

    2. Put the mouse into discovery mode and run the Device Discovery under the My Bluetooth menu.

    3. With the mouse in discovery mode right click on the device icon in the BlueSoleil screen and select Get Device Name (if not detected in step 3).

    4. With the mouse in discovery mode right click on the mouse and selected Connect > Bluetooth Human Interface Device Service.

It should then connect as an input device. You do not need to pair it.
