    hello all,

please bear with me, I am a noob in this surround business :(

I have a zepto 6625wd laptop and logitech x-540 speakers. the speakers only have analog input, namely three color coded cables; green, black and yellow.

the laptop has an analog output and also an optical S/PDIF output.

what I need is something like this I think (just the converter, not the headphone it self), an optical to analog converter. and may be a MiniTOS to TOSLink optical cable?

does anybody have experience with this?

Or get another soundcard PCIExpress45(?) or USB with 3x3,5mm analog stereo (surround) outputs.
